DevEvilBot Development

Little backstory on why i cant verify my bot: I contacted the discord admins and said stripe (the website you go to verify your identity) says I’ve been verified, but when I log in to discord, discord says you are not verified, after 3 months they respond "we cant do anything, find someone who can verify your identity with his passport or ID card" | Summary : My country is under sanction and i cant verify it.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the end of the DevEvilBot Discord service. This was not an easy decision for me to make, but after careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that it is in my best interest and that of my customers to discontinue the service.

DevEvilBot was a Discord bot designed to provide users with a variety of fun and engaging features. Despite the bot’s popularity among our users, I’ve found that maintaining and updating the service is becoming increasingly difficult and costly. I apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who rely on DevEvilBot for entertainment and community building on Discord.

I realize that many of our users have formed connections and friendships through DevEvilBot, and I am deeply sorry for any disappointment this decision may cause. I would like to assure our customers that this decision was not easy for me and that I have exhausted all options before making this decision.

I will be phasing out the DevEvilBot service over the next few weeks to give users time to switch to other Discord bots. During this time I will continue to provide support for any issues you may encounter with the bot.

I want to thank all of our DevEvilBot users for their loyalty and support over the years. I understand that this decision can be difficult, but I hope you will continue to support us as we move forward and explore new possibilities.

I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
DevEvil

Discord Scams

Discord is a popular chat and voice communication platform that is widely used by gamers and communities to connect and communicate with each other. However, like any online platform, it is not immune to scam.

Phishing is one of the most common scams on Discord. This occurs when a scammer poses as a legitimate user or organization and tries to trick you into giving out personal information such as login credentials or credit card information by sending you a private message or creating a fake website that looks like a real one looks like Discord login page.

Another common Discord scam is fake giveaways. In this scam, the scammer creates a fake account or server and posts messages claiming to be giving away free items or currency. They may ask you for personal information or send them money to enter a giveaway. However, these hands are fake and you will not get anything back.

The third type of Discord scam is identity theft. In this scam, the scammer creates a fake account that looks like a legitimate user or organization and uses it to trick people into giving them money or personal information. They can do this by impersonating a popular streamer or YouTuber, or by impersonating a member of a popular gaming community.

To protect yourself from these Discord scams, it’s important to remain vigilant and always be on the lookout for unsolicited messages or links. Don’t give out personal information or money to anyone you don’t know, and make sure you verify the identity of anyone you contact before giving them any information. Also, remember to always use a unique password for your Discord account and turn on two-factor authentication for extra security.

In summary, Discord is a great platform for connecting with people, but it’s important to be aware of the potential scams that can occur. By following the tips above, you can protect yourself and use Discord safely.
