The latest Nexus AI update is here, and it is one of our biggest releases yet. We are introducing our next-generation models, Nexus 3 and Nexus Mini, along with a redesigned user interface, major upgrades to our reasoning and search systems, a regenerating feature, and safety improvements.



Nexus 3 – Our Most Advanced Model Yet

Nexus 3 represents the next stage in AI intelligence on our platform. It is powered by a combination of OpenAI’s GPT-5 and xAI’s Grok 4, both of which are orchestrated through our upgraded NexusLLM v3.

NexusLLM v3 intelligently merges responses from multiple advanced AI backends. It selects the right models for the task, filters and ranks their outputs, and synthesizes them into one optimized response. This new version adds improved reasoning capabilities, allowing Nexus 3 to think and provide more accurate, nuanced answers.


Nexus 3 runs with a medium reasoning effort, making it ideal for complex problem-solving while keeping response times fast. Nexus 3 is available exclusively to Nexus Plus subscribers.



Nexus Mini – The Next Generation Free Model

Nexus Mini is the successor to Nexus 1.5 and is now our default free-tier model. Built on recent-generation AI technology, it combines the former Nexus 2.5 (previously available only to Nexus Plus) with Nexus 1.5 and NexusLLM v3, creating a faster and smarter model for all users.


While it is less advanced than Nexus 3, Nexus Mini still features reasoning capabilities with a low reasoning effort, giving free users a noticeable boost in intelligence and versatility compared to earlier generations.



Reason – Our Dedicated High-Reasoning Model

Our specialized reasoning model, Reason, has been upgraded to handle even more complex tasks. It now operates with a high reasoning effort, which means it can think longer, analyze deeper, and produce more detailed responses.


Reason can also handle longer input and output lengths, perform advanced problem-solving, and manage extended research workflows.



DeepSearch – Faster and Smarter

DeepSearch has also received a significant upgrade. It now searches faster, scans deeper into relevant sources, and delivers richer, more insightful results. This allows for better in-depth answers, longer responses, and improved accuracy when retrieving information.

Regenerate AI Responses

One of the most requested features has arrived: you can now regenerate an AI message directly from the chat. Simply click the 🔄️ icon below the AI’s message, and Nexus AI will create a new response using the same prompt. This is perfect for when you want a different perspective or a refined answer without retyping your request.



A New Nexus AI Interface

We have overhauled the Nexus AI interface to improve usability and organization.


Key changes include:

  • Sidebar Navigation: Your conversation history now appears in a dedicated sidebar, replacing the old history modal. This makes browsing, searching, and reopening chats faster and easier.
  • Pinned Chats: You can now pin important conversations. Pinned chats appear at the top of your sidebar for quick access.
  • Chat Header: The chatting interface now includes a header showing the conversation title, a pin icon, and a delete icon. Clicking the pin icon will pin the current conversation, and the trash icon will delete it.
  • Gallery Tab: A new Gallery tab lets you view and download all images generated by our Imagine model. Even if a conversation was deleted, your generated images will remain accessible for at least 30 days or longer.
  • Improved Search: Chat history search is now more responsive, making it simple to locate specific conversations or outputs.


New Safety and Warning Messages

We have added clearer warning messages for medical, legal, and prohibited content.

  • Medical and Legal: At the end of AI responses on these topics, Nexus AI will now remind users that it is not a licensed professional, that errors are possible, and that they should verify the information with a qualified expert.
  • Prohibited Content: If a query involves illegal or disallowed topics, users will receive a warning message notifying them of the issue.
